Effective at noon on Sept. 11, 2018, campfires will once again be allowed throughout the Coastal Fire Centre's jurisdiction.
Although fire danger ratings have dropped in the region due to recent rainfall and cooler temperatures, the public is strongly encouraged to exercise caution with any outdoor burning or campfire use.
Extended Season for Lake Cowichan campsites.
Campsites Heather, Caycuse, Littleshaw will be open until Oct 8, 2018 for fall camping.
There are no changes for the Nanaimo Lakes campsites. Open until Oct 8, 2018.
